Speaking of Nicholas Bredimus
The revolution in airline travel and hospitality was sparked off by Nicholas Bredimus, who introduced them to the computer programming world to create new procedures. He has done everything from the creation of software programs that automate resource and time intensive processes to advancing airplane safety and designing luxury homes.
Examining Nicholas Bredimus’ roots anyone could see he was bound to rise to the top. Its lines can be traced back to classical times, Bredimus’ lineage ties in with several different nations within Europe. From his mother’s side he hails from German and Scottish bloodlines. England and Luxembourg were home to Bredimus’ paternal line, although during the nineteenth century they would emigrate.
Even in the U.S.A, the family still worked hard to climb up the social ladder. Nicholas, as well as his four sisters and two brothers, was born to a father employed as a mechanical design engineer and his spouse, a nurse. He went on to live in Texas for a while and also spent time in Reston, VA, Kansas City, MO and Scottsdale, AZ. And what, you might ask, did he do with his pedigree and education? A string of prominent posts were soon his, all working with popular airlines. Nicholas became a vice president with firms like Hughes Airwest, Trans World Airlines (TWA), and Republic Airlines respectively. These accomplishments nothwithstanding, above all the airlines have felt the need to thank him for services in the realm of computer programming.
Mr Nicholas Bredimus is certainly most famous for a US Airways request, inventing aircraft upkeep programs, destined to become an “old reliable” for airplane management. He would look next at making and recording reservations. For both hotels and air travel he designed software to deal with the majority of the work required until this approach. Expanding into another field, he designed a networked system to automate ticket ordering — something that had never before been achieved.
While it is eminently his forte, he also frequently worked in other areas. Responsible titles with American Express and American Airlines were to come, and of course he started up a firm of his own seventeen years ago.
These days, though, Bredimus has withdrawn from his airline connections and from coding, though rest assured he’s still making use of his talent. Currently, he designs and builds high-priced houses boasting many of the cutting edge eco and smart technologies currently available. Proof (if any such proof were needed) of what passion can actually achieve!
