Small Town Girl Talk: Overcoming Alopecia with Human Hair Wigs

The majority of us never imagined the indestructible Colleen Sharp, my life-long soul mate, could need a collection of lace front wigs. Her signature hair styles was synonymous with her femininity. But surprise surprise. Our favorite gal continues to be celebrated for her style. Not many in town can tell she relies on quality black wigs. They work well.

When we were blossoming ladies in Arizona, we regularly stole the spotlights to every dance. Five years later, her alopecia reared its head and her hair wouldn’t be the same. I mentioned a few lace front wigs. Even so she shrugged it off. The incredible woman took the time and fully owned her attitude.

Appearing at the school’s baseball championship, we ate nuts until a numbskull retardedly threw the sphere (or whatever you call it) towards the fans. My bff tried to get it when her head scarf fell off, unveiling her thinning hair. No big deal, she tossed the ball right back at him. She’s that kind of girl.

Of course, there’s two sides to every coin. One time she invited me over for a game of bridge, when she quietly revealed that she prefers to go bald out of bitterness. She missed her natural hair too much to think about human hair wigs, secretly acknowledging she wanted one. At that disclosure, our fearless protagonist grew embarrassed and asked that I it was silly. She really needed help.

I thought about it all night. The next morning, I asked her about settling the wig issue. Finally we arrived at the only logical action: we’ll think of wigs as fashion, and we love fashion. One for me and one for her.

We had a great time, floored by the options. I never imagined that human hair wigs are so professionally crafted for beautiful people and famous actors. These women’s wigs were exactly what she needed. Personally, I built an entirely fresh wardrobe to match our wigs. We do it all together, you know. Not long ago she thanked me for reuniting, and explained it rekindles new vibrance that she’d forgotten. It’s a relief to see little miss attitude live a happier existence. Friends can do anything!
